Privacy policy

Exactly what this site does and does not collect, tool by tool. Short, specific and honest about analytics, cookies and where your files go.

Short version: your files are never uploaded, and this site does not ask who you are.

Your documents

Every tool here runs entirely inside your browser. When you select a PDF, it is read into your browser's memory, processed on your own device, and written back to your own disk.

Your file is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We do not receive it, so we cannot store it, read it, share it, or be required to produce it. There is no upload, so there is nothing to delete afterwards — closing the tab is the deletion.

You can confirm this yourself. Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and compress a file. You will see the compression engine download once, and no upload of your document.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. There are currently no analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels and no advertising on this site.

If that changes — analytics and advertising are both likely once the site has meaningful traffic — this page will be updated in the same release, and it will say exactly what is collected and how to opt out.

The compression engine

The first time you use a compression tool, your browser downloads a WebAssembly engine of about 16 MB from this site. That is an ordinary file request, the same as loading an image, and it is cached so it only downloads once.

Third parties

There are none. No fonts, scripts, analytics or embeds are loaded from other servers. Everything comes from this domain.

If a voluntary support link to Buy Me a Coffee is shown, following it takes you to their site, which has its own privacy policy. Nothing is shared with them unless you choose to go.
